OAK RIDGE, TN. (July 2, 2018) – iTOOLco, a leading developer of products that increase safety, save time, lower worker effort, and improve results for hard-working contractors and the professionals they employ, announced today that it has upgraded its Cannon 6K™ wire puller. The new version of this top performing product (part number C6K.2) is faster and has an even broader application than the original Cannon 6K.
With a capacity of up to 6,000 lb., iTOOLco’s Cannon 6K™ has a 4-speed motor and dual capstans that pull at speeds up to 8′ and 28′ per minute on low and 20′ and 70′ feet per minute on high. Fitted with a 30” extension for longer reach, the Cannon 6K™ is capable of pulling out 9’ of wire from the conduit opening to capstan and changes quickly from side pulls to overhead or underground. In addition, the foot switch now stores right on the wire puller.
“Anyone who knows iTOOLco knows we never stop innovating,” said David Jordan, President at iTOOLco. “When we spotted a way to improve this already-great product, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to pass it on to our contractors. So we made it happen.”
Anchoring the Cannon 6K™is not required on most jobs. It is the only 6,000 lb. wire puller that can be attached to the receiver hitch on a truck and can be anchored in the event that anchoring is necessary. Fully self-contained and compact, all of the wire puller’s parts store right on the tool, so no gang box of parts needed. The Cannon 6K™ wire puller continues to be lightweight and easy to transport, making it the puller of choice for many electrical contractors and electricians.
